Produto de exelente qualidade e custo beneficio ; é só ligar e curtir seus filmes e séries . Superou minhas espectativas , tem ótima qualidade de imagem e som ; os ajustes são muito simples e de facíl configuração , conectou perfeitamente a minha rede 5G . A entrega foi rapída , antes do prazo ; para quem quer um projetor top, recomendo esse com certeza . O único ponto negativo que achei é que não tem o aplicativo da Netflix e entrada de rede , no demais tudo Ok .

It’s a fine device but with issues.

So I’m in love with this device, but it has issues, and I believe they’re software based. Sometimes the projector just turns off when I’m viewing youtube and video from an HDMI source or VLC player, I didn’t face this issue with the Amazon Prime app. Not sure what happens, but this issue is random. Sometimes it turned off when I just turned it on and opened youtube for like 5 minutes; sometimes, it goes for hours just fine. I also watched videos from an external SSD via VLC media player – this happened; I used JellyFin it happened, I used a Xiaomi tv stick 4k in 1080 mode to run Netflix, and it happened. Only Amazon Prime seemed untouched. It’s clearly not overheating since this problem happened in the morning when the projector was off for the entire night and the evening prior, but when I turn on youtube – it’s just turning off in a few minutes. I had sleep and screensaver disabled. This issue occurred after the last update. I will order a new unit after this gets returned, but I’ll try myself with the 4k version. FYI I had the same issue with my XIAOMI smart TV 55 inch. It also happened after an update. Back then, I rooted that TV and installed a custom ROM. This time, since I’m under warranty, I decided not to take the risky flow hence rooting or messing with the OS voids your warranty.

Small box but big deal

We have put this to use when we received the projector. It may be small but is packed with goodies. Very happy with results. Still learning all that is available. Very big picture and nice sound. We love projectors because they offer such a huge picture. It has updated technical stuff like streaming capabilities. The quality is good in this Epson model. There was no problem ordering from Amazon. We received the Epson EF-12 in a quick delivery, and it was received in great condition. After several months we are still very happy.

Sharp autofocus and clear HD picture

The sound from this system is very good given its size. However, I connected a Home theater Dolby surround sound system to it with great results. For a system that can be easily moved from room to room and even to the patio or garage, it produces sharp and clear picture. The best part is that it automatically focuses when turned on. I stream a lot of content with my FireStick on one USB input, and my Xfinity box on the 2nd USB input. Because of its Android OS, we easily CAST what’s on our iPhones and iPads to it. Who needs a fixed TV when you have this versatile projector that can display regular to a giant picture? Only caveat is that because it is a projector, you interrupt the picture when you walk in front of it and it is not rain-proof.

Maybe it’s me. I can’t find a mute button on the remote. Why?

Packs one heck of a punch

The projector has been absolutely great and is so compact and amazing. Just for the heck of it I went up to 500 inches though 150 is advertised and it still looked great at night. However during the day outside in a shaded area do not expect to see anything. Only usable at night.

Great Projector!

I replaced a much less expensive projector that I have had for a year with the EF12 and I’m very happy with my selection. The picture is so bright and crisp! I wish it had a zoom but the digital zoom does allow you to resize the image and move it even though the actual projection is much larger. I would definitely buy this again.

Works amazing! But no Netflix?

Works amazing! Supe easy to use and the picture is insanely brigh, vivid and crisp! Sound quality for this thing is amazing for its small size. Extremely small but packs a big punch.There’s no nexflix cast from the phone which is weird but prime and YouTube work great. You can plug a Netflix capable device into the hdmi and use it that way but no phone cast.I don’t care about Netflix but make sure you know.

This is a GREAT product

This projector makes me so happy, I’m very pleased with this purchase especially at the price! It high quality and setup was super easy, I was finished within a few minutes (and I’m a non technical person). The picture quality is mind blowing and it comes with built in entertainment! Audio sounds really good too. I’m obsessed with this product.

Praticidade surpreendeu

Funciona razoavelmente durante o dia, mas a noite ele é muito bom, é muito portátil porque o foco automático é praticamente instantaneo . Tem somente um defeitonrelevante: apesar de ser Android ele não tem disponibilidade pra Netflix, segundo a Epson foi um problema de licenciamento.

Pra quem quer se sentir de verdade no cinema, mas com o conforto da sua casa, este é o produto ideal.A imagem é perfeita, as cores idem e a tela muito maior do que de uma TV, vc só precisa de uma parede, mas caso não tenha pode ser uma tela.Aqui jogamos a imagem direto na parede que pintamos num tom de cinza bem clarinho para destacar as cores da imagem.Ficou perfeito!

No es posible ver netflix en el proyecto!

Es un producto de muy alta calidad y excepcional sonido, para que fuera perfecto se requeriría, que fuera compatible con Netflix. ya que por ninguna forma es posible verlo directo en el proyector, que a decir verdad no es nada barato, y para poder resolverlo es necesario conectar via HDMI un dispositivo como Chrome TV, Firestik, o appletv. algo inaceptable en un producto tan caro y que por unos pesos más podría ser perfecto.

I’m writing this review after using the Epson EF12 projector for about 3 months.Pros:1. Good picture quality with natural colors.2. Sharp lens. The image stays in focus from corner to corner.3. Laser light source with 20000 hours of long life. It should easily last over 10 years with regular use.4. Sufficient brightness to watch the movies even in rooms with some ambient light. However, the dark room environment is where it really shines5. Good sound quality. We can manage without a sound bar if we are not looking for a wide surround sound stage with lot of bass.6. Low fan noise7. Low power consumption8. Minimalistic retro look and compact size9. Mostly accurate auto focus and auto keystone adjustments with ability to fine tune the settings with remote provides flexibility with projector placement10. Does not have any ports or vents on the back. It provides ability to project on ceiling. It’s a different experience to watch movies on ceiling.11. Built in Android 11 operating system. You don’t need any other external device if you want to watch Amazon Prime Video and most of the other streaming apps.12. In case you want to use external streaming device, the built is USB port is able to provide enough power to Amazon Fire TV Stick.13. Made by a well known company – Epson – and the sound system designed by Yamaha. We can expect the projector to last long.14. Regular firmware updates. Received 2 updates in 3 months so far.Cons:1. Not directly mountable on tripod. I thought, we could use the screw mount at the base of the projector for fixing standard tripod quick release plate – not possible. The tripod quick release plate standard screw is bigger than the projector screw mounting. We’ve to buy a separate mounting plate ELPMB65 which was out of stock everywhere in Canada for long. I was finally able to buy the mounting plate – when it became available briefly – after checking it’s availability on epson site daily for more than a month.Meanwhile, My temporary solution was – I removed the standard screw from my tripod quick release plate; replaced it with M4 12mm screw with a washer and fitted the quick release plate with this screw at the base of the projector with some cardboard padding. The projector could be mounted on tripod with this arrangement. However, I was not very comfortable with this arrangement as the screw mounting at the base of the projector is off it’s center of gravity and it’s just a small screw holding the projector.2. The projector LCDs are not able to completely block light outside the configured image area. We can see a halo like area – with dark grey light glow – around the configured image area. It provides lesser than ideal movie watching experience for dark scenes.3. Projector brightness is not enough for watching it with a fair amount of ambient light. I would have also appreciated a better contrast ratio.4. As is well known, the projector’s native Android operating system doesn’t support Netflix app as of now. We need to use an external device like Amazon Fire TV Stick for it.5. No lens cap.My solution – I came across a YouTube video with title «Epson EpiqVision Mini EF12 lens cover». He has shared links to blender and STL files of the lens cap design. I’ve got the lens cap 3D printed. Works great.Issues fixed in the latest firmware update V1081. The auto keystone adjustment feature now works properly most of the times.2. We now have the ability to adjust the zoom and image shift digitally. Zoom can be adjusted from 50% to 100% in increments of 5%.Suggestions to Epson. Hope someone from their team reads the review.1. Provide the mounting plate along with the projector. As per initial unboxing videos, Epson used to provide the mounting plate along with the projector. Not sure why they stopped doing that. It’s priced 13 CAD – only 1% of the projector’s price. I’m sure it shouldn’t be that hard for Epson to absorb that cost for the completeness of the product offering. It’s a non-standard mounting plate and is out of stock everywhere most of the times. At least, make it available for buying. For a portable projector, ability to readily mount it on a tripod is an important feature.2. Provide a lens cap.3. Sort out the licensing issue with Netflix so that it’s natively supported. Most of the reviewers are knocking off stars from the reviews mainly for this reason.4. Provide auto object avoidance feature so that the projector can adjust the image size as per the available clear projection area.5. Improve the contrast ratio.

Good projector for that price range if you’re looking for something portable

Good quality picture. Very easy integration with computer and can watch Netflix through chrome cast.The inherent software doesn’t have Netflix but the other softwares work pretty well.The picture is quite good. Auto keystone is decent but can be better. The brightness is good overall but not the best.The projector is portable and easy to carry. I think overall a very good projector for those with a special need to be portable with decent picture and have good sound l. Brightness is okay but in dark environments is good. To have good picture brightness will need light control in the room.

I got what a wanted, it’s compact, it has a decent speaker in it and good image quality. I’m super happy with this purchase. On top, it’s really easy to cast from any device to this projector.

Excelente Proyector

Es un excelente proyector, comparado con los que venden en ML o Amazon que son chinos y son baratos este a pesar de ser más caro es muy bueno, lo digo por experiencia.El sonido viene firmado por Yamaha, la calidad de audio es muy buena y la de proyección también aunque obviamente solo se puede usar en tardes y noches, no funciona bien en lugares con sol o muy iluminados….No contiene la app PRE instalada de Netflix pero con un Fire Tv se soluciona….Creo que lo único un poco malo es el tema del emparejamiento con bocinas auxiliares, me ha pasado que la conecte a una Bowera and Wilkins y a una Sony y se desconecta seguido….sería lo único a mejorarPor lo demás le doy una calificación de 8.8 a 9.2 ….la verdad es una excelente compra…

Maravilloso proyector

Lo coloqué en la sala, sustituyendo el espacio que sería para una pantalla con un mueble y la verdad vale la pena. La imagen se ve clara, funciona súper rápido y el sonido es muy bueno, como sala de cine. Excelente producto, lo recomiendo plenamente. Por el momento no cuenta con la app de Netflix, pero la verdad con todas las otras apps que tiene, es suficiente, no hace falta.

Grata sorpresa!

Es una gran adición para cualquier habitación. Permite tener un lugar limpio sin la presencia de la una tele. Facil de transportar, y moverlo a cualquier habitación es posible por si fácil seteo. Tiene una gran calidad de imágen, aunque el audio pueda ser mejorable es más que suficiente y con buena definición. Lo uso también de estereo sin estar proyectando imagen, puedo Spotify o YouTube por Bluetooth o por cast. Tiene ventaja de ser proyección laser, no genera efecto arcoiris de otros no laser.

Super recomendable!

A mi hijo y a mi nos fascinó tiene muy buena resolución puedes proyectar en el techo, le conecte una barra de sonido a través de bluetooth y ayuda bastante a una experiencia sensacional, aunque la bocina que trae es muy buena también, el único pero quizá le pondría es que no se puede instalar Netflix de fabrica pero al ser Android seguramente existe un método para hacerlo y que tiene la opción de instalar software que no esté firmado por Google Play, en resumen un gran proyector!!!
